Miriam’s husband was mentally ill, and as it worsened, he was eventually placed in a mental facility. At one point, he committed suicide and left his wife alone with 3 children.
One of her children, a twin, has Cerebral Palsy which requires a tremendous amount of care and energy from Rivka. She needs to take the kid to weekly appointments, psychological therapies and treatments which drains her abilities to care for her other children, along with financial and household duties. Her son is in need of a role model, a mentor to give him attention and guidance.
“I am now receiving money from Milka’s Fund, and I would not be able to manage without it.” – Miriam K.
