Aliza M., Katif

Aliza and her family were forcibly evacuated from Nitzan (a borderline settlement part of the Gush Katif region). They were forced to leave their previous home, job, neighbors, and basically restart their whole life.

Her husband used to be a successful businessman but is currently so broken, that he turned to drinking. Now he’s addicted to vodka, lives by his mother, and is not even capable of giving a divorce. He also tried to commit suicide a number of times. Aliza’s daughter is now 24, but is not even thinking of getting married because she’s busy taking care of her mother, and has the family’s burden on her shoulders.

Milka’s Fund assistance brought some relief to Aliza and her family.
